An overview of our application process can be found at the bottom of this page. After receiving your documents, we will usually send you a video interview with a member of our recruiting team or a short online test. This is followed by a first personal interview with the specialist department. Depending on the position, this is followed by another interview for which we will send you a small case in advance.


During the process, we always provide you with necessary and helpful information.

The first interview usually takes place with the recruiter for the position. The second interview we would like to give you the opportunity to get to know the Hiring Manager who is sometimes accompanied by the recruiter. Depending on the position you might get to know other potential team members as well. In any case, you will be informed by us before each interview who exactly will be present.

We update our vacancies regularly. If a position can no longer be found on our site, it is likely that it has already been filled. If you are unsure, you are welcome to send us a message to careers@vimcar.com or apply proactively.

The Coding Challenge differs in content depending on the advertised position. We try to provide individual feedback on your solution. Your challenge will be evaluated by one of our software engineers and discussed in a second interview. Should we decide against continuing the process, you will still receive feedback.

We use different types of cases. In doing so, we ensure that the time you need to invest is appropriate in regards to the requirements of the job. Optional is therefore not to be understood as meaning that you choose to do a case or not. It means that not every process necessarily includes a case. Of course, we will let you know in good time whether or not you have to prepare one.
